The Monteverde Organic Coffee Tour offers a different perspective to witness the Monteverde Cloud Forest and it's countryside, where you can appreciate the beauty and tranquility of rural Costa Rican life, a world away from the tourist crowds and traffic.
Visitors are given the rare privilege of exploring this beautiful private farm founded by the quakers for the farmers to make a living, on a guided walk, from where you will see the amazing process of 1 very important product worldwide, as well as enjoy coffee and other plantations. 

Our guides will explain you all the processes of this product from the plant to the cup and you will also have the chance to taste it. One of our main features is the infrastructure, where all of the trails are well maintain, which will allow the tour to be accesible for most travelers. Families with children or people with some physical limitation will not have trouble walking around it.

This organic coffee farm is at the high altitudes of 1170 meters above sea level in the bordering town of San Luis, granted both organic production and processing certifications under regulations of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, EUROPE, EU, COSTA RICA, SWITZERLAND AND CANADA. Here you will learn about its history, plantations, different types of harvest, processing, obtainment of various products.

After the tour around the plantation, we will be invited into the local farmer’s home for a freshly brewed cup of coffee. Private and Group tours can be arranged as well with prior notice.
