You'll learn how to make a delicious medium roast "chorreado" coffee while enjoying a cooking class where we prepare traditional empanadas. Then, you'll taste the exclusive Peaberry coffee, a high-quality export variety.
Next, delve into the intriguing history of cocoa, from its Mayan roots to its cultivation and production process. You’ll participate in grinding cocoa beans to prepare three types of chocolate: dark, milk, and caramelized. As a special touch, you'll enjoy a relaxing skin exfoliation using the leftover cocoa.
Following this, we'll take a 40-minute walk through the coffee plantation, where you can harvest coffee beans if it's the right season and see cocoa plants, along with a variety of ornamental and medicinal trees.
The tour continues at a traditional sugar cane mill (trapiche), where you'll learn about the origins and history of sugar cane. You'll have the chance to crush the cane and taste its refreshing natural juice.
We’ll conclude the day with a coffee roasting demonstration, the perfect ending to an experience that connects you deeply with the land, its flavors, and its history.
